Bulldog Media Group of Madison received a $2,900 hiring incentive from Heartland Consumers Power District.
Madison Mayor Gene Hexom gathered with representatives from Heartland and the Lake Area Improvement Corporation in December to present the incentive.
"It is great to be in growth mode. We are optimistic about 2011 and anticipate even more positions being added to Bulldog Media Group," said Bulldog Media Group President Darin Namken. "The commitment of Heartland to the community and local companies with this program is a true testament of their forward thinking and investment in the future."
Bulldog Media Group, Inc. was established in 2000 as CreditSoup, Inc. The company has expanded to include three divisions specializing in different online marketing channels. In 2001, the performance-based affiliate network CommissionSoup was launched; and in 2009, Infusion Strategies officially took over the data management, lead generation and customer acquisition efforts.
A new division, The RewardsRunner Network, an online shopping solution that rewards customers for every purchase made at RewardsRunner.com, was established in 2009. Heartland awarded a HELP loan to Bulldog Media Group for $93,750 to facilitate this expansion, including the purchase of necessary software and equipment.
Bulldog Media Group's growth in the Infusion Strategies and RewardsRunner divisions has led to the addition of eight new full-time positions since the end of 2008. Five of these new employees qualified the company for a Heartland incentive.
"Their growth says a great deal about the management and employees of a company that promotes and markets credit cards in today's regulatory climate," said Russell Olson, Heartland's manager of community and economic development. "Madison is fortunate to have Bulldog Media Group as a resident business, and Heartland is happy to reward their expansion efforts."
