Business Assistant

Bulldog Media Group is a privately-owned online marketing company with corporate offices in Madison, SD. While the responsibilities of this role are further defined below, applicants must primarily have attention to detail and organization, the ability to quickly learn, and work well in a team environment.

Scope / Dimensions of Roles:

  • Report processing for merchant accounts
    • Pull data from various sources including websites and email
    • Utilize our online systems to process these reports and data
    • Recognize and communicate any inconsistencies or errors
  • Program administration through our content management system
    • Initiate and complete new program setup
    • Update existing offers as needed
    • Review offer information, documentation, and marketing materials for accuracy
    • Communicate offer and program changes and additions as necessary
  • Compliance monitoring
    • Monitor and review website and email marketing content for compliance with program terms and regulations and contact partners regarding findings, as needed
  • Assist with receptionist duties and customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Senior Account Executive

Bulldog Media Group (“BMG”), one of the fastest-growing consumer credit marketing companies in the U.S., is seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage the company’s email and web publisher marketing partners and act as a liaison between those partners and our merchant advertiser clients. This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing department and scale it by an additional 5-10x over the next few years.

Working remotely from within the U.S. is possible for the right individual.

Scope / Dimensions of Roles:

  • Develop, maintain, and grow strategic relationships with BMG’s marketing partners with the goal of maximizing revenue and account performance. Activities include:
    • Overseeing all marketing partner contracts, deliverables, campaign tests, and reporting
    • Continuously monitoring BMG’s marketing partners to ensure all facets of execution (e.g. creative, technical, informational) meet clients’ objectives
    • Identifying new initiatives and business opportunities with BMG’s existing marketing partners
    • Creating scalable strategies for CPA, CPM and CPC campaigns
    • Designing incentives, bonuses, and other strategies to enhance marketing partner performance
    • Resolving diverse & complex issues via in-depth knowledge of tracking products & technical interfaces
    • Monitoring marketing campaigns to ensure compliance and client brand/reputation protection
  • Actively recruit new marketing partners
  • Manage and mentor BMG Account Managers
  • Represent BMG at tradeshows, conferences and new business meetings
  • Work alongside BMG management to identify/develop new customer acquisition opportunities for BMG’s advertisers via its cross-channel digital platform (Email, Web Publishing, Display, etc.)

General Skills:

  • Experienced in sales, negotiations and relationship management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing management/acquisition
  • Excellent project management/organizational skills and a “hands-on” approach
  • Proven success measuring, analyzing, and enhancing email marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM regulations and other email best practices
  • Solid foundation with email marketing tools and products
  • Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
